Toilets are a place for peace. This essential space, at the center of our lives, should be safe and secure. For billions of people sanitation is under threat from conflict, extreme weather events and disasters. #WorldToiletDay

Did you know that 419 million people still practice open defecation because they have no other choice? On today’s #WorldToiletDay, let’s take action together to expand access to toilets and leave no one behind.

Sanitation is a human right. Everyone should have access to safe sanitation. We must ensure safe toilets for everyone by 2030. #WorldToiletDay
